Central Nebraska's most diverse hunting country.
From wide-open native prairies and rolling grasslands to thick CRP cover, agricultural fields, shelterbelts, and rugged canyon country,
our carefully managed properties provide exciting opportunities for hunters and their dogs.

Fully Guided Groups
Groups of five or more hunters hunt privately with their own guide and dogs.
Groups of one to four hunters may be combined with another smaller group.
Arrangements will be discussed before reservations are confirmed.
Self-Guided Groups
A minimum of two hunters is required.
Self-guided groups are private and are never combined with another hunting party.
Each group receives access to designated private hunting properties.

Located in the heart of Valley County, Nebraska, ALACIE GUNDOGS operates in one of Central Nebraska's most diverse hunting landscapes.
Here, wide-open native prairie and Sandhills-influenced grasslands transition into fertile agricultural country, rolling hills, rugged draws, and wooded river bottoms.
This combination of landscapes creates outstanding opportunities for different upland bird species. Expansive grasslands provide habitat for greater prairie-chickens and sharp-tailed grouse, while CRP fields, shelterbelts, food plots, and agricultural edges offer valuable cover for pheasants and quail.
The North Loup River valley, nearby reservoirs, and surrounding wetlands add another dimension to the region, providing habitat for migrating ducks, geese, and other wildlife.
One moment you may be watching dogs work across open prairie, and the next you're following them through thick cover after pheasants and quail. Every property offers different country, challenges, and opportunities.
Come Prepared to Hunt
This is big country, and we encourage guests to come ready to cover ground. Expect rolling hills, uneven terrain, steep draws, thick cover, and plenty of walking.
Even experienced hunters with exceptional dogs can have challenging days. That's part of real upland hunting and what makes success in the field so rewarding.
We also have properties offering easier terrain and do our best to accommodate different physical abilities and group preferences. Please discuss any limitations or special requests before booking.

Great upland hunting doesn't happen by accident. At ALACIE GUNDOGS, we put considerable time and effort into developing
and maintaining properties that provide quality habitat, strong bird numbers, and exceptional opportunities behind the dogs.
Through carefully managed food plots, habitat improvements, natural cover, and strategic supplemental bird releases where permitted,
we work to create environments where birds can find food, shelter, and room to thrive.
Our goal isn't to simply release birds for an easy afternoon of shooting.
We want birds that utilize the habitat, move naturally, and provide the challenging, exciting dog work that makes upland hunting special.
Some days the birds cooperate, and other days they'll make even the best hunters and dogs work for every opportunity.
That's hunting, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
